The new album from Sony  “40 TRIPS AROUND THE SUN” will be on the occasion of their 40TH anniversary in 2018. It will be released by Sony Music’s Legacy Recordings in February 2018 and will contain revised hits as well as new songs.

Historically, only a few are the groups that have left such a bright trace in pop culture like TOTO. Together for over 40 years, with thousands of performances behind them, they have established themselves as one of the most successful formations in the world music scene. The individual projects of the group members with different musicians as well as the overall creativity of TOTO can be heard on the amazing number of 5,000 albums that mark half a billion sales. They are a model by which many artists base their sound. This is one of the few groups of the 70s that have survived fashion and change over the years. Their repertoire continues to be included in various television productions and films. At the moment, they enjoy a huge number of fans of all ages. It is no exaggeration to say that 95% of the world’s people have heard a song of the group.

In 2015. the legendary band recorded their first studio album for 10 years – TOTO XIV. It is an exceptional combination of skillful arrangements and brilliant tunes presented in a genius way. The album ranks among the top 10 charts worldwide and became the most successful album since 1988.

In 2018 TOTO marks 40 years of their remarkable career. For four decades, the band has released 17 studio albums and sold over 40 million copies worldwide. They earned several Grammy Awards and were included in the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2009.

They are planning to celebrate their anniversary with the “40 Trips Around The Sun Tour”. It will start in February 2018 in Europe and will be one of the largest tours so far. The concerts included in it will be extremely special and filled with many surprises. Added to the tour are 11 more dates. Before the start of the tour, TOTO in partnership with Sony Music’s Legacy Recordings will release a new album. It will include both 9 new songs and revised hits of the band.

At their concert in Bulgaria on March 4, 2018, in Hall 1, NDK TOTO will be in composition of Steve Lukather, David Paich, Steve Porcaro, and Joseph Williams.
